Melbourne taxi driver threatened with gun

A taxi driver had a gun pointed at his forehead in an attempted robbery in Melbourne.

The driver was parking his taxi in a car park in Ascot Vale on September 25, when an unknown man approached him, pointed a gun at his forehead and demanded cash.

When the driver said he would call police, he ran off, police said on Thursday.
