Melbourne store robbed at knife-point

Knife-wielding youths wearing balaclavas have robbed a convenience store in Melbourne.

Up to eight people, two armed with knives, jumped the counter of the Werribee store on Sunday night before stealing cigarettes and cash and smashing windows, police say.

Workers at the Derwent Road store were not injured and the robbers are still on the run.
