Road workers are still trying to repair a three-metre-deep sinkhole that was found on a busy road east of Melbourne during peak hour traffic.
The sinkhole on Springvale Road in Donvale was discovered by construction workers about 6pm on Tuesday.
Traffic chaos is expected during Wednesday's evening peak as the northbound lane remains closed.
