Melbourne scrub fire suspicious: police

A scrub fire in Melbourne that took firefighters two hours to bring under control amid strong, hot winds may have been deliberately lit.

Victoria Police say they are treating the Carrum Downs fire on Wednesday afternoon as suspicious and have released images of a man they think can help with their inquiries.

The fire caused no injuries but minor damage to property.
