Melbourne flights resume after short delay

Flights out of Melbourne have resumed following a short delay at Tullamarine airport caused by a "network connectivity" issue.
Hundreds of people were stranded at the airport for about an hour on Tuesday morning when outbound flights were delayed by check-in and baggage system problems.
The airport subsequently tweeted: "Airport network issue resolved. Please be patient while we process passengers through the terminal."

"Baggage systems are now operational and we are checking people in and getting them on their way," Melbourne Airport spokesman Grant Smith told AAP.
The airport apologised for the disruption.
