Melbourne's Flagstaff Gardens will be painted pink as the life of murdered teenager Masa Vukotic is remembered.

Crowds will gather at the gardens near the city's court precinct from 6am on Monday to mark the stabbing death of the 17-year-old in a Doncaster park in March.

Masa's mother Natasa Celebic confirmed she would attend the Paint the Park Pink event, which will include people marching around the gardens.

"I hope that something will change with this as no one has the right to end any girl's life, dreams and plans, just like my Masa had," Ms Celebic wrote on the event's Facebook page.

Sean Christian Price, 31, from Albion, has been charged over her death and will appear in the Melbourne Magistrates Court on Monday.
