Melbourne man charged over stabbing murder

A man has been charged with murder after a woman was found with stab wounds in Melbourne's southeastern suburbs.

Paramedics were unable to save the woman, aged in her 40s, after she was found at a Whitby Way property at Seaford on Tuesday afternoon with stab wounds.

A 44-year-old Seaford man was arrested and later charged with murder and is expected to front Melbourne Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
