Police are yet to arrest the four men who robbed a Melbourne jewellery store, armed with mallets, on Tuesday morning.
However, police apprehended a 27-year-old man on Tuesday at 1pm and spoke with him in relation to the smash-and-grab at Westfield Plenty Valley in Mill Park.
The robbery, which took place at 11.45am, took little more than 20 seconds and involved the criminals shattering a jewellery store's glass cabinets and stuffing valuables into bags in front of shoppers.

The balaclava-clad men then ran to a four-wheel drive car that was waiting in the shopping centre car park.
