Melbourne drunk, drugged drivers nabbed

One drunk or drug-affected driver was nabbed every 10 minutes on a Melbourne road during an early morning police operation.
Officers on City Link near Brunswick Road tested about 2000 drivers between 11.30pm Friday and 4.30am on Saturday.
Twenty-seven drivers were caught allegedly drink driving, nine had their cars impounded over the course of a few hours.

Police also issued 60 penalty notices for a range of offences including speeding, mobile phone and seatbelt related matters.
