Melbourne bottle shop robbers arrested

Two men have been charged after a spate of alleged bottle shop thefts across Melbourne.

The three-month spree, which began in April, included thefts at bottle shops in eight suburbs across the city, police said.

A 28-year-old Heyfield man and a 43-year-old Maffra man have been charged with theft, threats to kill and criminal damage and will face Latrobe Magistrate's Court on Wednesday.
