Melb woman's death being investigated

The death of a Melbourne woman who'd earlier been found in a home with life-threatening injuries is being investigated by police.

The woman, 28, died in hospital on Wednesday night, more than 24 hours after she was allegedly found unresponsive by a family member at a home in Tarneit.

Police are awaiting the results of a post mortem.
