Melb woman indecently assaulted in street

Melbourne detectives have released an image of a teenager they allege indecently assaulted a door-to-door saleswoman after shadowing her on a bicycle.

Police say the 22-year-old was followed by the suspect between 3pm and 3.30pm in Avalon Avenue at Broadmeadows on October 21.

He began asking her questions and told her his name was Brian.

The woman got away and contacted police.

Detectives from the Fawkner Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team say they believe the FACE image they have released is of a youth aged between 16 and 18.
