A three-year-old boy has been taken to the Royal Children’s Hospital after a dog bit him on the face at a home in Melbourne’s east.
Paramedics were called to the Hughes Court, Woori Yallock, home just before midday, and found the toddler with head injuries.

The child is believed to be three years old and is in hospital in a stable condition.
The dog is believed to be a Staffordshire terrier, and has since been impounded.
