Melb road closure causes traffic chaos

Citybound traffic on Melbourne's Eastern Freeway is in chaos after a truck rollover closed all inbound lanes.

Police say a truck carrying sand or soil collided with two cars just before 8am on Tuesday.

The freeway is closed from Springvale Road and traffic is being diverted at Middlesborough Road.

The cleanup is expected to continue for several hours, police say.
