Melb girl critical after dash for bus

A Melbourne schoolgirl is critically injured after being hit by a car as she ran across a busy road.
The car hit the 14-year-old as she ran for a bus across Stud Road in Scoresby about 8am on Friday, police say.
She has been flown to the Royal Children's Hospital with critical head injuries, Ambulance Victoria said.
