Melbourne poppies off to UK for Anzac date

Blankets of 300,000 handcrafted poppies made for the Anzac centenary are adorning the steps of Victoria's Parliament before they fly to the UK.
The knitted, sewn and felted poppies sewn onto nets first went on display last year when they were laid across Melbourne's Federation Square for centenary events.
The flowers will be flown to the UK for the Royal Horticultural Society's Chelsea Flower Show in May, which attracts more than 150,000 visitors each year.
