Melb crash kills motorised bicycle rider

A man is dead after his motorised bicycle crashed into a trailer attached to a parked car in Melbourne.

The crash occurred on Maple Crescent in Hoppers Crossing about 8.30pm on Monday and the man, who died at the scene, is yet to be identified.

The Victorian road toll now stands at 118, after the death of a man whose car plunged into a Warrnambool river at the weekend was added to the tally on Monday.
