Master Builders Victoria's 2018 elections' conduct and record keeping will be investigated by the Registered Organisations Commission.
The probe falls under the Fair Work Act and is a voluntary process, with Master Builders Victoria saying it will provide full assistance to the ROC.
The commission has also advised it has referred the matter to the Australian Federal Police for review of a possible contravention, the MBV said in a statement on Thursday.
