Man thrown from sunroof in Melbourne crash

A man has somehow avoided serious injury after being partially flung through the sunroof of his rolling car before becoming trapped under the wreckage in Melbourne's north.

Paramedics found him pinned beneath the upturned vehicle about 12.30am on Friday in Epping.

Ambulance Victoria spokesman Paul Bentley said the man, aged in his 20s, "miraculously doesn't appear to have any serious injuries".

Along with two other people involved in the crash, he was taken to hospital in a stable condition.
