Man stabbed multiple times in the leg at unit block in Melbourne

A man has suffered multiple injuries after he was stabbed at a unit block in North Melbourne overnight.

Police were called to an address on Sutton Street around 9pm and found the 24-year-old with numerous stab wounds to his leg.

He remains in a stable condition at the Royal Melbourne Hospital.

A 20-year-old man was arrested at the scene but was later released without charge.
