Man stabbed in Melbourne home

A man has been arrested over an alleged stabbing at a home in Melbourne's northwest.

A 32-year-old man was arrested in St Albans late on Monday night following an alleged altercation that left a 40-year-old man with stab wounds to his upper arm and cuts on his ear.

The victim is in hospital in a serious condition.
