Man stabbed after argument in Vic

A man has been stabbed after an altercation on a residential street in Victoria.

Police say the 31-year-old man suffered a minor laceration following the confrontation with another man in Golden Square, a suburb of Bendigo.

The victim was taken to Bendigo Base Hospital with a chest injury after the stabbing about 3pm on Tuesday, an Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman said.

No one is in custody over the attack, though police say a woman was arrested at the scene in relation to another matter.
