Man shot in stomach in Melbourne

A man is fighting for life after being shot in the stomach during a brawl in outer Melbourne.

Police say four men were fighting in Melton on Friday night, when two of the men produced a gun and a hammer.

A man in his 20s was shot in the stomach and taken to hospital with life threatening injuries, while a 50-year-old and 27-year-old went to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
