Man shot in Melbourne's southeast

A man is in a critical condition after being shot in Melbourne's southeast.

Emergency crews were called to Bloomfield Street, Keysborough at 5.45pm and found a man, aged in his 30s, with a gunshot wound to his upper body, police say.

The man was taken to hospital.

The area has been cordoned off and police are trying to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.
