Man shot in leg in Melbourne's north

A man has been shot in the leg in Melbourne's north.

Police say emergency services were called to a property on Nepean Street in Broadmeadows at about 1.30am overnight to find the 47-year-old man with a gunshot wound.

He was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
