Man's body found in Melbourne home

A man's body has been found in a Melbourne home and foul play is suspected.
Police were called to the home in Briar Hill, in the city's northeast, about 4.30pm on Wednesday.
They went to do a welfare check and discovered the body.

"The exact circumstances surrounding the man's death are yet to be established, however, at this early stage, the death is being treated as suspicious," Victoria Police said in a statement.
It is understood the man was aged in his 30s.
He is yet to be formally identified and police are awaiting the results of a post mortem.
