Man's body found in water at St Kilda Marina

A man's body has been pulled from the water at St Kilda Marina in Melbourne.

A passer-by spotted the body partially submerged in the sea opposite the boat marina about 1.20pm today.

Bystanders pulled the body out of the water before police arrived.

The grim discovery happened amid the popular St Kilda Festival, which was held today.

Police said the cause of death is yet to be determined and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
