Body found in Melbourne front yard
Police are awaiting the results of an autopsy to determine whether a man found dead in a Melbourne front yard died in suspicious circumstances.
The man's body was discovered about 7.30am on Friday at a suburban home in Mitcham, with the cause of death unknown.
The street was cordoned off, with investigators and police forensic workers lining the road for much of Friday.
The death was originally deemed suspicious but investigators are now waiting for the autopsy to determine whether foul play was involved.
A neighbour, who wishes to remain anonymous, told AAP the family living at the house "keep to themselves".
"There's a family there and a trampoline and some play equipment in the front yard," the man said.
