Man remanded over Vic stabbing

One of two men interviewed over the stabbing death of a man at Werribee has been charged with murder.

Victorian Homicide Squad detectives say 36-year-old Daniel Parry, from Darley, was remanded in custody during an out of sessions court hearing on Tuesday.

It follows the stabbing death on Sunday of a 30-year-old Werribee man.

Detectives are still interviewing a 21-year-old Melton South man over the death.

Parry is scheduled to appear in Melbourne Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
