El Houli was arrested on Tuesday after arriving at Fawkner police station on a separate matter.

Police recognised the vehicle he was in, and searching it allegedly uncovered two loaded handguns, nunchucks, the drug ice and cash.

He was on bail for other matters at the time of the offence, according to court documents.

He was remanded in custody until January 15.
