Man questioned over Vic hit and run

An elderly man has handed himself in to police following a fatal hit-and-run at the Victorian tourist town of Lakes Entrance.
A passer-by found a man, aged between 40 and 50 years, lying on the side of the Princes Highway just after 7pm on Tuesday.
Emergency crews worked to resuscitate the man but he died at the scene.

An 81-year-old man presented at the local police station at 10am on Wednesday believing he may have been involved in the incident.
He was interviewed and has been released pending further enquiries.
