Man killed in Victorian road crash

A man has died and two have been hurt in a three-vehicle collision in Victoria.

A car and truck collided head-on on the Murray Valley Highway at Lake Boga, near Swan Hill, on Tuesday morning, killing the unidentified male driver, police said.

The truck then struck another car.

Two men in the truck were injured, one seriously, but a five-year-old boy in the truck was unhurt.

The South Australian man, 68, driving the second car was unhurt, but two dogs in his dog trailer were killed.

The death takes Victoria's road toll to 148, seven more than at the same time last year.
