Man killed in horse float crash in Vic

A man has died after a car towing a horse float crashed into his ute in Victoria's southeast.

Police say a 4WD with a horse float collided with the man's ute in Hazelwood North about 5.30pm on Thursday.

The driver of the ute died at the scene, and the woman driving the 4WD has been taken to hospital.
