Stand-off in Melbourne ends in arrest

A man is in custody after a stand-off with heavily armed police in Melbourne.
Police arrested the man about 10:30am on Tuesday after negotiating with him for several hours.
Officers were called to the home at Burdekin Avenue in Bayswater North at 7.20am.

Nearby roads were cordoned off as members from the Critical Incident Response Team, surrounded the house.
