Man dies after shooting near Geelong

A man aged in his 20s has been shot and killed near Geelong.

Police have established a crime scene at a home in Dove Street, in Norlane, after the incident about 1.40pm on Saturday.

Homicide Squad detectives are at the scene where neighbours have described hearing screams.

"I could hear some screaming ... and then I heard a gunshot," a woman told the Nine Network.

"I looked over the fence and people were running around crazy and there was blood everywhere, on one of the guys."

Another neighbour saw a man with a gun jump over a fence.
