Man dead after Melbourne siege

A man has been found dead in a Melbourne home after almost 12 hours of police negotiations.

Officers were called to the Kookaburra Avenue, Werribee, home on Sunday morning and police went into the property shortly before 8pm to find a man dead, a police spokeswoman said.

It was not a police shooting and no other people have been injured in the incident, she said.
