Man dies in Melbourne work site fall

A man has fallen to his death down an open shaft on a Melbourne construction site.
The man's death was reported to police on Monday morning, after he fell at a building on the corner of Pelham and Berkeley streets in Carlton.
CFMEU boss John Setka said on Twitter the man had "tragically fallen to his death", while Worksafe confirmed it would investigate the incident.
