Man critical after stabbing in Victoria

A woman is in custody and a man is in a critical condition after he was stabbed while riding his bike in Victoria's southwest.

The woman, 21, has been charged with intentionally causing serious injury after a 70-year-old man was stabbed in Portland on Friday just after 9pm.

The man was riding his bike when the woman allegedly approached him and asked to borrow his phone, Victoria Police say.
