Man charged over wool industry fleecing

A man has been charged after he allegedly tried to fleece the wool industry.
Police say a 51-year-old Malvern East man has been charged with obtaining property by deception over an incident in Melbourne's western suburbs in October.
It's alleged false information regarding wool descriptions and test samples were provided.

The man has been bailed to appear at Melbourne Magistrates Court on April 10.
The investigation was carried out by Victoria Police Agricultural Liaison officers who specialise in livestock theft and farm-related crime.
