Man charged over violent Vic robbery

A man has been charged following a violent assault and robbery at a Melbourne milk bar.

Police will allege the man threatened a female shop attendant woman with a Taser before assaulting her with a steering wheel club when she fought back on June 11.

The 19-year-old Wantirna man has been charged with armed robbery, intentionally causing serious injury and recklessly causing serious injury over that robbery and three others earlier in the year.

He will face the Melbourne Magistrates Court on Saturday.
