Man charged over Vic woman's murder

A man has been charged with murder after a woman was found dead in a suburban Melbourne house.
The 44-year-old woman's body was found in a St Albans property shortly after 9am on September 10 and police have been searching for a male suspect.
Police on Wednesday charged a 49-year-old man with murder and he is due to face Melbourne Magistrates Court on Wednesday evening.
