A man has been charged with allegedly threatening to blow up a Malaysia Airlines plane flying from Melbourne to Kuala Lumpur.
A 25-year-old Sri Lankan national faces two charges against the Crimes Aviation Act and is due to appear in the Melbourne Magistrates' Court on Thursday afternoon.
Malaysia Airlines flight MH128 was forced to turn back to Melbourne late on Wednesday night after the man allegedly said he had an explosive device.
