Man charged over Melbourne shooting death

A man has been charged with murder following the shooting death of a father of three in Melbourne's southeast.

Ali Denis Duyar died in The Alfred Hospital hours after collapsing with gunshot wounds to his upper body in the middle of Bloomfield Road, Keysborough, at 5.45pm on June 10.

Police early on Friday said a Doncaster East man Omer Cicekdaj, 25, had been charged with his murder.

He was remanded and will appear at the Melbourne Magistrates Court later on Friday.
