Man charged over death at Melbourne clinic

A man has been charged with murder following the death of another man at a Melbourne medical centre.

A 26-year-old man died at Monash Medical Centre in Clayton on Tuesday night, after arriving with life threatening injuries, police said. It's believed he had been shot.

A 29-year-old Ascot Vale man was arrested on Thursday afternoon and has since faced an out-of-sessions court hearing.

He is expected to face Melbourne Magistrates Court on Friday.
