Man charged over body found in central Vic

A 31-year-old man has been charged with murder after the body of a man was discovered in central Victoria.

David Whimpey, 30, was last seen near a hotel northwest of Melbourne in October last year before his body was found on Monday at a property near Lake Eppalock.

The St Albans man charged with his murder will appear before Melbourne Magistrates Court on May 3.
