Man attacked with pitchfork in Melbourne

A 72-year-old man has been attacked with a pitchfork after confronting people who broke into his Melbourne home.
The man found three people in his Cranbourne North home just before midnight on Wednesday before a struggle began and the victim was injured.
The victim was taken to a local hospital by paramedics with a cut to his head, while the intruders fled the house. It's not yet known they stole anything.
