Man arrested after Melbourne shooting

A man has been arrested after another man turned up at a Melbourne police station with a gunshot wound.

Police say the man presented at Broadmeadows about 8pm on Thursday with a gunshot wound and was taken to hospital.

On Friday morning, they arrested a man at Greenvale, who is currently assisting with their inquiries.

The two men are believed to be known to each other.
