Man and woman saved from Vic house fire

A man has been rescued from the roof of a burning Melbourne home, while a woman caught inside the house as the flames took hold has been rushed to hospital.
The man scaled the roof after he was unable to get to his partner inside, authorities say.
Firefighters saved the woman, who was rushed to The Alfred hospital in a serious condition and suffering smoke inhalation.
