There has been no sign of a man missing in Victoria's Alpine National Park for more than 24 hours, with concerns growing for his welfare.

Ferntree Gully man Jeremy Boyden, 23, was last seen on Dargo High Planes Road, near Bicentennial track north of Dargo, about 5pm on Friday.

Local police, search and rescue and the Air Wing, along with the State Emergency Services and local bushwalkers, resumed their second day of searching for Mr Boyden on Saturday morning.

He was last seen wearing a green and gold jumper, blue tracksuit and is believed to be only wearing one running shoe.

Investigators believe he may also be with a white and brown Jack Russell terrier named Rocky.
