Male diver dies in Victoria

A man who was scuba diving with his friends in Victoria has died after he was reported to be in distress.

Emergency services were called to Beach Road, Werribee South on Saturday afternoon and the man was pulled from the water but he could not be revived.

He was declared dead at the scene.
